Guided visits to the Grand Palace, Wat Traimit and Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha). Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon, you will visit Wat Arun and do klong tour in the canal of Thonburi with a stop at Baan Silapin local artist house.
Morning excursion to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon exploration of Ayutthaya’s UNESCO-listed ruins, Wat Phra Si Sanphet, once the royal temple of the Ayutthaya Kingdom, renowned for its three iconic chedis. Continue to Wat Mahathat, famous for the Buddha head entwined in tree roots – one of Thailand’s most photographed sites. Take a short boat ride along the Chao Phraya River to view Ayutthaya’s temples from the water, appreciating the city’s strategic location as a trading hub. Return to Bangkok.
Flight to Chiang Mai. You will be welcomed by your English Speaking tour guide at Chiang Mai airport. Transfer to your hotel and check in. Evening street food tour in the Old City.
07:45 or 08:30 pick up from your Chiang Mai hotel / guesthouse (outside middle ring road additional charges will apply). Upon arrival at the Park (1 hour drive from Chiang Mai), change clothes into beautiful uniforms provided. Introductory discussion. Feed, observe and interact with our elephants. Walk with the elephants through beautiful scenery with plenty of wonderful photo opportunities. Walk down the hillside to our elephants bathing area. Enjoy bathing and brushing them in their very own pool. Say farewell to your new elephant and Mahout friends after a memorable experience. Take a shower, change your clothes and enjoy a delicious home cooked lunch prepared especially for you at Park. Return back to your accommodation at 14:00.
Morning visit to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai’s most iconic temple perched high above the city. Climb the grand staircase flanked by mythical Naga serpents or take the funicular to reach the temple grounds. Explore Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, adorned with golden chedis, intricate murals, and a sacred relic of the Buddha. From the terrace, enjoy panoramic views over Chiang Mai and the surrounding valley. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon tour of San Kamphaeng silk and silver craft villages. Evening free at leisure.
You will be transferred to Chiang Mai International Airport for your return flight.
