Welcome to Siem Reap, the charming gateway to the ancient capital of Angkor. At its peak in the 12th century, the Angkor civilization was one of the most advanced in the world, home to more than one million inhabitants. Today, Siem Reap serves as the perfect base for exploring the extraordinary temples of the Angkor Archaeological Park. Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel in Siem Reap (approximately 60 km, about 1 hour drive) for check-in. • Dinner will be served at a local restaurant, with a choice of local Khmer cuisine or Indian food. Services Included: • Transportation: Private vehicle with driver • Guide: English-speaking guide • Meals: Welcome dinner (choice of local or Indian cuisine) • Accommodation: Hotel in Siem Reap

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, begin with a short drive to the Roluos Temple Group, among the earliest permanent Khmer monuments in the region. These temples date back to the 9th century during the reign of King Indravarman I and mark the early development of classical Khmer architecture. The Roluos group consists of three main Hindu temples — Preah Ko, Bakong, and Lolei — which were once part of the ancient city of Hariharalaya, one of the first capitals of the Angkorian Empire. Visit Preah Ko Temple, dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. The temple is notable for its elegant brick towers and the stone statues of Nandi, the sacred bull and mount of Shiva, positioned in front of the sanctuaries. Continue to Banteay Srei Temple, a 10th-century masterpiece dedicated to Shiva and unique for being the only major temple at Angkor not commissioned by a king. Often referred to as the “Citadel of Women,” Banteay Srei is renowned for its remarkably detailed Pink sandstone carvings, considered among the finest and best-preserved in Angkor. • Return to town for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Magnificent Angkor Wat, one of the modern wonders of the world and the largest religious monument ever constructed. Built in the 12th century, this iconic temple represents the peak of the Khmer Empire. Explore its grand galleries adorned with intricate bas-reliefs and discover small shrines that remain active places of worship today. Return to your hotel for refreshment. • Dinner at a local restaurant. Services Included: • Transportation: Private vehicle with driver • Guide: English-speaking guide • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner • Accommodation: Hotel in Siem Reap

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to explore Angkor Thom, the last great capital of the Khmer Empire. Enter through the impressive stone gates and continue to the Magnificent Bayon Temple, the centerpiece of Angkor Thom. As you approach, you will notice the serene and enigmatic stone faces believed to represent King Jayavarman VII, gazing in all directions. Continue to The Terrace of the Elephants, once used as a grand viewing platform where the King welcomed his victorious armies and held ceremonial events. Nearby is the Terrace of The Leper King, famous for its intricate carvings along narrow passageways leading toward The Baphuon complex. Next, visit the picturesque Ta Prohm Temple, one of the most atmospheric temples in Angkor. Overgrown with giant fig and silk-cotton trees, its massive roots intertwine with ancient stone structures, creating a haunting yet exotic “lost city” atmosphere. • Return to town for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, explore the temples along the Grand Circle Route, including: • Preah Khan, a vast monastic complex built by King Jayavarman VII • Neak Pean, a unique island temple set in the middle of a reservoir • East Mebon Temple, a 10th-century temple built during the reign of King Rajendravarman. Originally constructed on an artificial island in the now-dry East Baray reservoir, East Mebon was dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva and honors the king’s parents. - Return to your hotel for refreshment. • Dinner at a local restaurant. Services Included: • Transportation: Private vehicle with driver • Guide: English-speaking guide • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner • Accommodation: Hotel in Siem Reap

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour drive north of Siem Reap to Phnom Kulen National Park, the sacred mountain regarded by Cambodians as the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire. Rising 487 meters above sea level, Phnom Kulen dominates the surrounding plains and plays an important role in Cambodia’s history and spirituality. Visit the impressive Reclining Buddha, an eight-meter-long sandstone statue carved directly into the rock. Nearby, you may wash your hands at the sacred Linga carvings, a traditional ritual believed to purify the mind and body. Continue to the famous River of One Thousand Lingas, where numerous Hindu symbols are intricately carved into the riverbed, blessing the water as it flows downstream. Just a short walk away, enjoy the magnificent Kulen Waterfall, where you may relax or take a refreshing swim in the natural pool beneath the falls. • Lunch will be served at a local restaurant or as a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, drive to the remote and atmospheric Beng Mealea Temple, a largely unrestored 12th-century temple hidden in the jungle. Overgrown with vegetation and partially collapsed, Beng Mealea offers a true “Lost temple” experience, allowing visitors to explore its corridors and stone blocks in a more adventurous setting. - Return to Siem Reap for refreshment. • Dinner at a local restaurant. Services Included: • Transportation: Private vehicle with driver • Guide: English-speaking guide • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner • Accommodation: Hotel in Siem Reap

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, drive to the southern part of Siem Reap to embark on a short cruise at Chong Kneas, a floating village on Tonle Sap Lake, Cambodia’s largest natural freshwater lake. Enjoy a fascinating boat ride through the floating community, passing by houses built on stilts or floating platforms, schools, small shops, crocodile farms, and fishermen at work. You may also see children navigating the waters in small boats, offering a unique glimpse into the daily life of the lake’s residents. Return to the city and visit the handicraft center of Artisans d’Angkor. Established in 1992, this organization provides employment opportunities for young people from rural areas while preserving and revitalizing traditional Khmer craftsmanship. Here, ancient techniques such as wood and stone carving, lacquering, gilding, and silk painting are still practiced today. • Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, if time permits, visit the Old Market (Psar Chas). Located in the heart of Siem Reap, it is one of the most popular shopping areas for both locals and visitors. The market offers a wide variety of souvenirs, handicrafts, textiles, and traditional Khmer products — an ideal place for last-minute shopping. After the tour, transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for your departure flight (approximately 60 km, about 1 hour’s drive). Services Included: • Transportation: Private vehicle with driver • Guide: English-speaking guide • Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
