Welcome to Siem Reap, the charming gateway to the ancient capital of Angkor. Once the heart of one of the most advanced civilizations in the world, Angkor reached its peak in the 12th century and was home to more than one million inhabitants. Today, Siem Reap serves as the perfect base for exploring the magnificent temples of the Angkor Archaeological Park. Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel in Siem Reap (approximately 60 km, about 1 hour drive) for check-in. • Dinner will be served at a local restaurant, with a choice of local Khmer cuisine or Indian food. Services Included: • Transportation: Private vehicle with driver • Guide: English-speaking guide • Meals: Welcome dinner (choice of local or Indian cuisine) • Accommodation: Hotel in Siem Reap

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to explore the magnificent temples of The Angkor Archaeological Park. Begin with Angkor Wat, one of the modern wonders of the world and the largest religious monument ever constructed. Be amazed by the sheer scale and architectural brilliance of this iconic temple. Learn about the prosperity of the Khmer Empire between the 9th and 13th centuries, during the height of Angkor’s civilization. Stroll through the intricately carved galleries adorned with detailed bas-reliefs and discover small shrines that remain active places of worship for local people today. Return to town to visit Wat Thmei Pagoda, an active monastery where visitors can gain a deeper understanding of Cambodia’s tragic history. This area was once the site of killing fields during the Khmer Rouge era, and a memorial stupa here commemorates the victims.  Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue to the picturesque Ta Prohm Temple. Famous for its massive tree roots intertwined with ancient stone structures, Ta Prohm offers a haunting yet exotic atmosphere that highlights the harmony between nature and architecture. The temple’s dramatic scenery gives visitors the feeling of discovering a “Lost city.” Later, enjoy sunset views from Pre Rup Temple, a beautiful brick temple offering panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. Continue to Angkor Thom, the ancient royal city of the Khmer Empire. At its heart stands the magnificent Bayon Temple, renowned for its serene stone faces believed to represent King Jayavarman VII, gazing in all directions. Explore the Terrace of the Elephants, once used as a royal viewing platform for ceremonies and celebrations, and the Terrace of the Leper King, famous for its intricate carvings along narrow passageways leading toward the Baphuon complex. Return to your hotel in Siem Reap for refreshment. • Dinner at a local restaurant. Services Included: • Transportation: Private vehicle with driver • Guide: English-speaking guide • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner • Accommodation: Hotel in Siem Reap

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, drive to the southern part of Siem Reap to embark on a short cruise at Chong Kneas, a floating village on Tonle Sap Lake, Cambodia’s largest freshwater lake. Enjoy a fascinating boat ride through the floating community, passing by houses built on stilts or floating platforms, schools, small shops, crocodile farms, and local fishermen at work. You may also see children navigating the waters in small boats, offering a unique glimpse into the daily life of the lake’s residents. Return to the city and visit the handicraft center of Artisans d’Angkor. Founded in 1992, this organization was established to create employment opportunities for young people from rural areas while preserving and revitalizing traditional Khmer craftsmanship. Here, you can observe artisans practicing ancient techniques such as wood and stone carving, lacquering, gilding, and silk painting. • Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, if time permits, visit The Old Market (Psar Chas). Located in the heart of Siem Reap, it is one of the most popular shopping spots for both locals and visitors. The market offers a wide variety of souvenirs, handicrafts, textiles, and traditional Khmer products, making it an ideal place for last-minute shopping. After the tour, transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for your departure flight (approximately 60 km, about 1 hour’s drive). Services Included: • Transportation: Private vehicle with driver • Guide: English-speaking guide • Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
