3 DAYS HO CHI MINH – FULL DAY MEKONG DELTA

RETURN: 17:30 ROUTE: HCMC – My Tho - Ben Tre – HCMC Itinerary: Leave the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and depart for your trip for My Tho, a town located on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, which date back to the late 19th century. Then board a sampan and cruise along the river, passing the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands. Stop at Unicorn Island, and take a walk along the country lanes, and passing through lush orchards. Enjoy fresh tropical fruits while listening to traditional folk music which is performed by local artists. Visit a fruit plantation to learn more about the region’s agricultural products. Continue with a hand-rowed sampan ride along the peaceful Thoi Son canal and immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of Mekong Delta countryside. Visit a local family business and a honey-bee farm, where you can taste natural honey tea and observe a traditional coconut candy workshop. Enjoy Lunch at local restaurant. Followed by a short break. In the afternoon, take a cycling tour around the Tan Thach village, meeting the local residents and experiencing daily life in the Mekong Delta. For those who prefer not to join the cycling trip, can relax in a Hammock and enjoy cool breeze of the countryside. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. End of the tour.
