Upon arrival at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport, you will be welcomed by our driver (without a guide) holding a sign with your name. After collecting your luggage, the driver will escort you to your awaiting vehicle. The airport is approximately 35 km from Hanoi city center, with a transfer time of around 50 minutes to 1 hour. Hanoi, literally meaning the “River-bound City,” is Vietnam’s capital with a history dating back over a thousand years to 1010. The city’s charm lies in its unique cultural relics, ancient streets with traditional houses, elegant French colonial architecture, tree-lined boulevards, and romantic lakes, making it one of the most captivating cities in Asia. 8:00- 8:30: Pick-up from your hotel by our friendly guide to begin your Hanoi city exploration. 08:45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda, located on West Lake. Founded in the 6th century, it is the oldest pagoda in Hanoi. 09:30: Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you can view the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh. Stroll through the surrounding gardens and explore the two houses where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969. Continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy, and renowned as one of the most unique pagodas in the world. 11:15: Visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to learn about the cultures of the 54 ethnic groups across Vietnam. Special Note: If the Ethnology Museum is closed on Mondays, we will visit the Women’s Museum instead. 12:45: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, with the opportunity to savor eight delicious Vietnamese dishes. 14:00-14:15: Continue to the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11th century. 15:15: Depart for the Hoa Lo Prison Museum, originally used by French colonists in Indochina to detain political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this period, it was famously known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton.” 16:15 -16:30: Tour concludes. Return to the hotel. Notes: • Optional Cyclo Ride or Water Puppet Show can be arranged at the end of the tour (surcharge: USD 5 per person). • Visitors should dress modestly, covering shoulders and knees, when visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples, and pagodas. • Children under 3 years old are not permitted inside the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. • The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Monday and Friday mornings, and also from 5 September to 31 October. • The itinerary may be adjusted due to weather conditions. • Bat Trang Pottery Village is visited on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (without the Ethnology Museum). After breakfast, depart Hanoi for a scenic 4-hour drive to Ha Long Bay, including a 20-minute stop along the way. Arrive at the jetty in Ha Long City around noon and complete check-in formalities. Board your cruise and be welcomed on board, with lunch served while the vessel sails toward the bay. In the afternoon, enjoy optional visits or activities depending on your boat’s itinerary, or simply relax on deck and take in the stunning scenery. Enjoy a fresh morning in the middle of Ha Long Bay as the sun rises over the karst formations. Breakfast (or brunch on some boats) is served while the vessel cruises slowly through the stunning scenery, returning toward the port. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi by shuttle bus, arriving in the late afternoon. 17:00 – 17:30 – Our driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Da Nang (flight time approximately 19:30–20:00, depending on availability). Upon arrival at Da Nang Airport, you will be met by our driver and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Da Nang. 07:30 am – 08:00 am: Our minivan and a tour guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby, enjoy a ride to Ba Na Hills – Golden Bridge via Cable Car. Experience the Dream Stream Cable Car, the most modern cable car in Southeast Asia, and admire the breathtaking panorama of Da Nang coastal city. After finishing the first cable car, Visit the iconic Golden Bridge, known for its unique architecture and recognized as one of the world’s most remarkable pedestrian bridges by The Guardian newspaper. Explore Le Jardin D’Amour (consisting of 9 themed gardens) and Linh Ung Pagoda. Take the 2nd Cable Car to visit the French Village where you can enjoy Street Music, view artistic statue, Campanile, Nine Floor Goddess Shrine, Tombstone Temple, Watch Carnival Performance Show, Square Du Dome …Challenge the most popular adventure ride – Slide of Tube Car (free ride) … Enjoy buffet lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, take the Lava Train from Sun Kingdom to many new attractions for photos and sightseeing such as Helios waterfall, Time Gate, and The Moon Kingdom. Visit Fantasy Park by walking in Fairy Forest, Discovering Dinosaur Park, playing 5D wild West, enjoying 4D Death Race Ride, watching 3D Mega 360 Degrees, Riding journey into the underground, Entering Jurassic Park, Challenging Freefall Tower and Participating in an Adventure in Horror House and over 90 free games. 3:00 pm: Return to the Cable Car and leave Ba Na Hills. 4:45 – 5:45 pm: Transfer back to your hotel by minivan. 7:30 – 8:00 am: Pick-up from your hotel in Hoi An by van and tour guide, then transfer to Da Nang. 8:00 – 8:30 am: Pick you up at your hotel or meeting point. The first stop is Son Tra peninsula, also known as “Monkey Mountain” by American troops. The national park stands 693 meters above sea level, and its location on a peninsula affords breathtaking views of the surrounding sea level. Visit Linh Ung pagoda – home to the tallest statue of the Goddess of Mercy in Southeast Asia, will be one of your unforgettable memories. The 67-meter tall statue is located on top of a lotus-shaped platform with features 21 miniature Buddha sculptures. Next, you’ll be impressed by the Marble Mountains and Am Phu Cave. Admire stunning caves, and historic Buddhist pagodas. Spend time exploring and absorbing knowledge about religions, and gain insight into the differences between Buddhism and Hinduism Visit the Stone Carving Village of Non-Nuoc, where you can admire exquisite stone-fine artwork and purchase some unique souvenirs. 11:30 am – 12:00 pm: Enjoy some local cuisine at a local restaurant before visiting Cam Thanh Coconut Jungle and Hoi An Ancient Town. 1:00 pm: Continue to Cam Thanh Coconut Jungle, a peaceful green oasis. Experience traditional round net and cast net fishing, and try basket boat rowing for a hands-on cultural experience. 2:15 pm: Explore Hoi An Ancient Town, visiting landmarks such as Phuc Kien Pagoda, Phung Hung Ancient House, Japanese Covered Bridge, and local museums. Walk through the historic streets, admire architecture influenced by China, Japan, and Vietnam, and shop at Hoi An Central Market. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. 6:00 pm: Enjoy your time with a boat ride on The Hoai River and release the flower lanterns to pray for good luck for you and your family. You will immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of the lantern-lit street,and explore the night market, enjoying the shimmering lights and vibrant local culture of Hoi An. 6:30 pm: You’ll then be transferred back to your hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An if you requested. RETURN: 19:00 ROUTE: HCM City – Cu Chi district – HCMC Itinerary: Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known as the “Reunification palace”built on the site of the former Norodom palace. This iconic landmark widely known of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, depart for the Cu Chi Tunnels, approximately a 1.5-hour bus ride. Upon arrival, you will receive a short introduction and watch a video explaining how the tunnels were constructed and how people survived under harsh wartime conditions. Explore the tunnel systems, including specially constructed living areas such as kitchens and bedrooms, alongside military facilities like storage rooms, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers—all designed to meet the basic needs of those living underground. The tunnels also feature hidden trap doors and other defensive mechanisms used during the war. After the tour, enjoy special tea and cassava, the traditional food of guerrilla fighters during the war. There will be a break for relaxation, and for those interested, an opportunity to experience real gun shooting. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. End of the trip. RETURN: 17:30 ROUTE: HCMC – My Tho - Ben Tre – HCMC Itinerary: Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to My Tho, a town located on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which date back to the late 19thcentury. Then board the sampan and along the river passing the four beautiful scenic islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands. Stop at Unicorn Island to stroll along country lanes, explore orchards, and enjoy tropical fruits and traditional folk music performed by local residents. Visit a local fruit plantation. Continue your journey on a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son Canal, taking in the tranquil beauty of the countryside. Visit local family businesses, a honey-bee farm, and participate in a honey tea and coconut candy workshop. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a short break. In the afternoon, Cycle around Tan Thach Village, meeting local villagers and experiencing daily life in the Mekong Delta. For those who prefer not to cycle, relax in a hammock and enjoy the cool breeze of the lush surroundings. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. End of the trip.
